Ceremonies and ways of worshipping
Ceremonies
In ancient Rome there were many different ceremonies but religious wise one of the most important ceremonies was sacrifices. Ancient Roman Religion and multiple of their ceremonies were based on the strong belief that if their Gods and Goddesses were happy then all the Romans would receive very good fortune. Because of this many sacrificial offerings were made to the ancient Roman gods. In ancient Rome they also would have ceremonies of magic. In ancient Rome they had a tong belief in the ability to control objects or nature and they would hold religious festivals such as Saturnalia and Bacchanalia were celebrated where sacrifices and even ribald songs were performed during ceremonies for magic.There were also many ceremonies for the people such as weddings, furnerals and births and there were temples built everywhere found throughout the roman empire.

The Romans believed that gods controlled their lives and everything that happened in them and, as a result,they spent a great deal of their time worshipping them. The romans had various different ways of worshipping for example Homes would have shrines and even small altars where they would worship thier spirits that were personal gods to thier homes and the shrine would contain various statues of the 'lares' the shrines would be performed each day by the head of the family.
Other then the preyers and spirit worshipping thier were also ways of worshipping the gods that were more so like a festival for example the Roman god Bacchus who is very well rememberd for his wine festivals where a boy would become a man, which was heald on March the 17th.
